The application of agrochemicals such as crop protectants, veterinary disinfectants may lead to (un)intentional exposure of the environment, animals and humans. Therefore, scientists have developed a number of testing strategies based on in vitro models of animal organs and tissues to perform safety testings on agrochemicals.
